Real-Time Subtitles for PC Audio on Windows
Real-time subtitles for any Windows PC audio
Many caption tools are tied to a specific app. Aurora Subtitles is designed for Windows system audio workflows.
That means you can use Aurora to caption or translate audio from YouTube, Twitch, online courses, webinars, videos, meetings, Discord, games, and other PC audio sources.
How Aurora handles PC audio
Aurora uses WASAPI audio capture for microphone and system audio. The core pipeline runs locally with Whisper, Silero VAD, TranslateGemma, and NVIDIA CUDA acceleration.
The result is a configurable overlay that can sit on top of your normal Windows workflow.
Good use cases
- real-time subtitles for PC audio
- live captions for Windows system audio
- YouTube live subtitles on Windows
- translate Twitch live audio
- caption webinars and online courses
- follow game or Discord audio with subtitles
Local and no subscription
Aurora is sold as a one-time payment. You receive a lifetime license for the current Aurora Subtitles product, with updates included during Early Access. It does not use a per-minute cloud credit model for the core captioning pipeline.
If you want a local live captions app for Windows, Aurora is built around that idea.
